Important Actions Required by all Chartered Student Organizations (CSO) Annually
Fiscal year is July 1st thru June 30th. Example (7/1/2022 - 6/30/2023)
August 1st of every year all CSO must do the following:
- Re-charter your CSO with SAC. See their website or email sac@unm.edu
- Renew your CSO's Signature Authorization Form with SGAO
- Complete the Finance Training Module with the associated quiz
*All three items must be completed to access any type of spending

Ways to obtain funding
Funding $$$ know what type of funding is available for your group. Is your group Undergrad (ASUNM), Graduate (GPSA) or a combo of Undergrad & Grad?
- ASUNM Fall & Spring Budget
- ASUNM Fall & Spring Appropriations
- GPSA Annual Budget
- GPSA Fall & Spring Appropriations
- PB Funds
- Self-Gen Funds are funds raised by your group through donations, sponsorships, or fundraising
*Be aware of important deadlines for requesting funds as each of them are different
How do I get an account with SGAO?
To get an account with SGAO your group must deposit self-gen funds or apply for funding through ASUNM or GPSA.
